For the pilgrims of 1448

Arrive at Arafat ready.

Hajj comes once in a lifetime. Most guides tell you what to pack. This one helps you prepare what you will say to your Lord, for whom, and how.

Two pilgrims, one afternoon

6:15

One pilgrim stands at Arafat from midday until sunset. They have a list of names in their pocket, years of things to ask forgiveness for, and du'as they have practised for weeks. When the sun sets, they feel they did not have enough time.

0:30

Another pilgrim arrives at the same place, takes some photos, has a meal and a nap, and is ready to leave after half an hour. Nobody told them what this afternoon is.

The difference between them is not money, health or luck. It is preparation. This site is here for that.

Hajj is Arafah. Whoever comes [to Arafah] on the night of Jamʿ [Muzdalifah] before dawn breaks has caught the hajj. The days of Mina are three. Whoever hurries on after two days commits no sin, and whoever stays on commits no sin.
